AUGUST!!!

This month was awesome! We were trying to hold onto what would be left of the summer. We embraced it by going to the pool often, getting Pass of All Passes so we could have free date nights for a year (it paid itself off in three days between Seven Peaks and Trafalga's go-charts and epic laser tagging), trying to cook new delicious desserts, to living off our garden and Ash's parent's garden, trying new crafts in making our home look pretty, and Nate and his brother's brainstorming and starting our new adventure Baldwin Games (our band).

First here is Ash's attempt at a great dessert a Seminole Cake (moistened in orange syrup and topped with melons).

Nate getting excited with his brothers about our band's first BOB (Battle of the Bands). (So we only got third, but it was our first concert as a band).
All in all we were ready for the fall, but were grateful for continual sunshine and about a month more of summer weather to enjoy by the poolside... even though it slowly slipped away with increased work and Nate' s new school schedule.
