After watching "Food Inc" we decided we wanted to be as organic as budgetly possible (Nate wants a disclaimer this in no way makes us hippies)! Thanks our parentals and the early mornings pulling weeds and pushing dirt!
We had to move about two feet of sand off of the top of the entire garden to get to the growing soil! A few days and with our duplex neighbors we shoveled, rototill'd, and talked our way to the below picture.
Planted tomatoes, a few different kinds of peppers, Japaneses cucumbers, a few different kinds squash, onions, garlic, and some cute flowers to the right. Fresh veggies yum!!!!
Growing your own veggies makes them so much more exciting to eat! I hope you guys have a great time with it!
